More doodles to color. I haven't tried coloring it myself, because I can't decide what to use. Maybe watercolor? My lazy default is markers or watercolor pencils, but coloring isn't any fun when you're rushing.

First Firebird.

Metallic gel pens don't scan so well, even with a little tweaking on Preview. Oh well. Maybe you'll have better luck.

I have four dogs, three cats, around 9 cockatiels but this is what I really, really want for a pet.

I colored these with regular watercolor pencils but now I'm wondering if I should have used the more opaque kind. I probably would have had better luck if I drew them on more watercolor-friendly paper, or stuck with markers like I normally do, but like they say, hindsight's 20/20.

On really bad days, I color. I was playing with a new set of gel pens, Sakura Aqualip. They have this kinda 3d effect. I think they're also called Glaze elsewhere. Anyway, they're pretty cool.

On second thought I shoulda drawn on a cardboard box with it instead. But it's pretty cool.

Something different for a change.

I was experimenting with the settings on Preview and found out you could do this. Hehe isn't it a good idea for personalized fluffy stationery? :D

A year later.

It hasn't been a really good year. So I thought I'd color instead of draw a bit. :)
